Two quibbles:

1: You say, "Presently the maglev technology is limited only to high speed transport on [the] ground," but that's only partially true.

Several groups in the U.S. have been working for years developing slower-speed, so-called "urban" maglevs and the Japanese HSST/"Linimo" maglev has been running in commercial service, after decades of development, between Fujigaoka and Yakusa, to the west of Nagoya, since 2005.

2: You say, "...It [maglev] is not affected by any weather..." but extremes of crosswinds and snow, for instance, will shut down any system, maglev or not.

Summary: Maglev is a terrific technology, no doubt, but it is not the one remedy for all the transportation world's difficulties.
