I am holding out for something to happen between LA and Las Vegas to kick start MagLev in this country. When Europe and Japan (ever little Taiwan) were putting state-of-the-art bullet trains, we Americans just sat on our hands. Now we want bullet trains when the s-o-t-art is maglev. How did we become so advanced in aircraft. Oh yes, we had WWII kick start us. And how did we get to the moon? We got stuck into in and just did it. Where has that drive all gone? Don't look at me.
